Philippines, Here We Come

Sunrise over Hong Kong, just twenty minutes to touchdown.. Half way on my trip in, and already being tested. Our plane was half an hour late leaving me just 25 minutes to change to the next one. Somehow it worked out and also my luggage made it too!

21 hours after I left cold and wet England (read: Home), the Philippine welcome was hot and muggy. One of the brothers from local church and HOPE, Jolly, picked me up and started my induction to the life in the Philippines. They are a happy, easygoing nation - and they eat a lot! After breakfast, comes a hearty snack followed by an early lunch.. and you probably guessed the rest.

Happy, tired I finally lodged at the Center of HOPE in Laguna, some 30km south of Manila. Ans slept really well. Zzzzzzzzzz
